Based in the Historic Dockyard
Cell Block Studios is in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard, providing a distinctive space for digital creative businesses to grow.
Each private office in Cell Block Studios has been converted from Grade-1 listed, Victorian Naval Prison cells. The cells are furnished with stylish desks, chairs, shelves and high-speed WiFi. You can hire a full desk and share the space with another business, hire the entire cell as your office, or hot desk and work from any of the communal areas in the building, such as the break out spaces and meeting rooms.
You can also book meeting rooms and use break out spaces when you want a break from your office. The communal front of house area is available for you to meet visitors and is ideal for informal meetings. Free tea and coffee are available in the shared kitchen and there is car parking (subject to permission from the Ministry of Defence).

9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday.
Out of hours access is available 24/7 to Full Desk and Private Office Memberships. Please ask for more information if you need out of hours access as you’ll need to follow the Dockyard’s process for this.
